Is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!!
Yep, the secret is out, we are having another little one and CAN'T WAIT! The big day should happen around May 18th. We are so excited and can't wait for Kade to be a big brother!

For some reason, I have been an emotional wreck these last few weeks. Life is busy these days with 8-5 school, a busy and devoted husband, and a growing three year old I am so blessed with everything in my life. With all the hustle and bustle with life, I can't complain with all the blessings I have. Kade is growing so fast it breaks my heart to know that he isn't my little boy he once was. It is exciting to see him grow and do so many new things, but I also realize that he is closer and closer to preschool, kindergarten, mission.....don't even get me started. The other night he had a hard time falling asleep and asked if I would sing to him while I scratched his back. Right in the middle of "I Am a Child of God" I started getting teary-eyed and Kade looked up at me and says "mom I lub you!" I love being a mom! It is truly the most completing thing I have in life and the best blessing my Heavenly Father could have given me. I found these pictures the other day on my computer of Kade when he was a few months old I thought I'd share. I love you Kade and are so blessed to have you in our family FOREVER!!!!

Clark is definately the LOVE of my life. He makes me laugh all the time. This picture is a good example of what happens at our house late on a Saturday night. Here are my top 10 reasons I LOVE my hunk of a man....

My little asthmatic.....

Well yesterday was a little traumatic for the Daniels family. Kade has been suffering with a terrible cold for the last few days while he has been at my moms house. Clark went and picked him up yesterday and brought him home. While he was here at home, he started breathing really fast and began to wheeze. He was breathing was so deep that if you looked at his tummy you would see his stomach go into his ribs (they call it inverted breathing.) So obviously we needed to take him to his pediatricians office to see what was going on. His oxygen levels were low, so they decided to give him a breathing treatment. They told us that we needed to rent one of those breathing treatment machines, and that he needed to be on a steriod medication. It was scary though because he kept needing these treatments. The Dr also wanted me to take him to the hospital to have a chest x ray done (just to be on the safe side,) since he has never experienced this before. Anyone that knows Kade at all knows what an active little boy he is, and he has never had this problem before. So you can imagine how bummed he was that we haven't been able to go outside and play because it flares up again. After a LONG night of absolutly no sleep, I am still so thankful that he is OK and that it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Please keep Kade in your prayers, we would really appreciate it!

Beach Trip part 1.....

Clark, Kade, and I went on a WONDERFUL (much needed) family trip to California to stay at the beach for three days. It was a total BLAST! Kade had so much fun. The weather was wonderful and everything went as planned. It was so nice to wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and head straight for the beach. Since we got a hotel there, we were only 2 miles from the ocean. Between busy school and work schedules, we figured this was very much so needed. Here are some pics of our beach vacation!

Oh my goodness how time flies. My little boy turned three years old last week. He is such a good little boy and has blessed our home in so many ways. Clark and I are blessed to have a strong, smart, healthy little boy who makes us laugh every second of every day. I am so blessed to be his mom and am truly thankful for the opportunity.
Kade was lucky to have 2 birthday parties (I know we are hard core over here.) We had a family party and a cute little pool party with several of his friends in the nursery. It was so much fun to celebrate this exiting time of his life with him! We love you Kade, and are so privileged to have you in our family FOREVER! Here are the pictures I took of him that morning he turned three.

Well, I am trying to play a little catch up. With my life super busy being a mom, going to school full time, and trying to keep my head on straight, I haven't had time for those little important things like blogging lol! For those of you who are NOT from Utah, the 24th of July is Pioneer Day. It is a day that we celebrate those who risked their lives along with the lives of their families to stand for what they believed in. We celebrated with a pizza and some fireworks (well sparklers actually.) Kade had a blast doing the sparklers. Here are some pics of our fun night!

K, so I remember blogging a while ago about the most difficult thing in the world....POTTY TRAINING! Well I haven't been the best at it because Kade goes to different houses during the week while I am at school all day. So, it makes it hard to buckle down and actually do it. He understands the concepts and "goes" all the time here at home, but I haven't been brave to put him in anything but a diaper when we go out. Well after purchasing ANOTHER $45 box of diapers I decided AUGUST is SOOO the month. I have the entire month off from school, so I need to buckle down and do it. I am hoping and PRAYING that this does not drag on, and that we will be successfully wearing big boy underwear in no time! If there is anyone who has the tips...please feel free to enlighten me. Tomorrow is day 1 of cracking down. My goal is to possibly take him to church on sunday with underwear on and see what happens....yikes! I know, I walk on the wild side!

My handsome little boy Kade is turning three in August! I KNOW....I will have a three year old!!! When we asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he told us he wanted a "stooter." Clark and I decided to go ahead and buy him one early so he can have the chance to ride it all summer. We went to Big 5 and let him pick out the one he wanted. He wanted the pink scooter but Clark wasn't too keen with that.....so he ended up with the blue one. He has gotten really good at picking up the coordination and balance it takes to ride one of those things. Even Clark likes to take it for a spin once in a while. Alright guys....line up I am ready to give injections! I am into my third semester in dental hygiene school which means anesthesia time! I think our whole class was sooo nervous, but when the time came to it, it was no big deal. It was kinda fun actually. Except for the fact that my lip was numb for a while. I have to get used to it though because in order to get an anesthesia liscence, we need to give a total of 27 injections. Yes, count them everybody 27! That means not only do I administer 27...but I also GET 27. I love it. Here are some pics from that fun day of me and my partner both giving and getting.

Ok.....so this is kinda funny. Kade has been asking me a lot if he can get the digital camera and take pictures (big mistake I made when I let him do it one time.) I have let him a few times so he knows how to operate it a bit. Well, I was walking towards the living room when I stopped for a second because I could hear him saying something. I peeked around the corner to find that he had found my camera, turned it on and was taking snapshots of himself. The funny thing was though, every time he went to push the button and take the picture, he said "say cheese" to himself and then take the picture. I was laughing so hard. I love this kid! We had dinner this past week with some good friends of ours that moved to Arizona. We are so sad they left but I guess that's what happens with apartment life. Kade is buddies with their little girl Addi. One of his other buddies is Jonas. Kade plays with Jonas often and they are great friends. We miss our friends Dave and Jessica and wish them all the best! Kade asks every once in a while where Addi is. Here are some pics of our kids playing this past week before the big move.

Kade is REALLY into animals right now. It is his new thing. Clark and I have been wanting to take him to the Living Aquarium that is by our home. Finally, in between breaks with work and school, we took him. He had a blast! His favorite part was the swimming turtles and the GIANT Anaconda snake. K so kids really do the funniest things. Well at the time I didn't think it was so funny but now when I look back it definitely made journal. So, here it goes. I decided to take Kade to McDonalds to get a kids meal and play at the Playland because it was such a rainy day at our house. (For some of you that don't know, rainy days and 2 year olds staying indoors do not mix.) Anyway, we were getting ready to leave and I saw Kade throwing a kids meal away in the trash. I though, "K no big deal he loves to throw away all the trash when we are done." Well, then I saw hin throwing a Big Mac box away and I thought wait a minute, I didn't order a Big Mac? I turned around and noticed that he had reached up on the table next to us and was throwing away some other people's food BRAND NEW!!!! They had left their tray there to go get their second tray from the front. I WAS MORTIFIED!!!!!! A BIG part of me wanted to grab him and run to the car as fast we could but then that darn conscious kicked in. The owner of the Big Mac and Kids Meal was walking over, and I graciously apologized and offered to buy him a new order. So 10 dollars later, we ordered more food for our new friends at McDonalds. What a day. Luckily the owner of the food was very nice and thought the situation was funny. Oh 2 year olds.....he was only trying to help!

Toga, Toga, Toga...

Kade is such a funny little boy. He has this new routine during bath time that he insists on doing. After his bath he has to climb out of the tub on his own with no help at all, puts both of his arms straight up in the air, and wants you to wrap his towel around his body so that he can walk all by himself without any help. Clark started chanting "toga, toga, toga" to him and now every time Kade gets out of the tub he says it too! He loves to walk around the house with his towel on and tries to see how long he can before I catch him to put his "jammies" on. On some lucky occasions, he drops the towel and runs away from me so all I see are two cute little white butt cheeks staring at me. Anyway, here are some pictures os Kade wrapped up in his towel ready for the Toga party!

OK....for some of you that are not aware, I have one adventurous 2-year-old. Clark, Kade and I went to a reunion in Provo where there was a pool at the home we were at. Well, several of the kids were playing in the pool and of course my son couldn't wait to strip off his clothes and put his "swimmin trunks" on. So I thought "ok thats fine he can swim, it's no big deal." Well I decided to go and grab my camera and snap a few shots of him swimming (Clark was in the water with him...no I did not leave him there alone.) When I came around the corner....this is what I saw and heard. "One, two, three," and there was Superman flying in the air! I was proud of him for being adventerous but then I thought to myself "oh no this is only the beginning of having a boy." Thought all you moms with our without boys might enjoy this!

I love this time of year. It's the time when the flowers finally begin to bloom, the birds begin to chirp again, and the wasps come out pestering you while your trying to lay out! Just kidding, but I really do love this time of year. Like I do every year (and my husband totally makes fun of me for it) I go "all out" and make both him and my little boy Easter baskets. I get all geared up and make the trek to Wal mart and fight the rest of the crowds trying to get the rest of the Easter candy along with some cute little toys to make the basket complete. Don't tell Kade but I bought him a new kite, some sidewalk chalk, and a bubble blower. I'm can't wait to give it to him, he gets so exited! OH and of course I had to buy him a cute little Easter outfit, or else it wouldn't be complete! From our family to yours, we hope you have a HAPPY Easter!

OK...so here it goes. Ready or not here it comes.....and NO I am not pregnant! We have begun the ever so fun stages of POTTY TRAINING! Oh my goodness what a weekend. It all started when Kade would announce to everyone around every time he had to "poop." Everyone would hear him yell "mommy I poop." Awesome! My favorite would be when we were at the store or better yet church. Yes the time has come everyone. We would appreciate all prayers and fasting as we have embarked on this exiting journey. Just kidding! Anyway my mom started taking Kade to the big boy potty this last weekend then it continued since then. Every 25 min "Kade do you need to go potty?" After hearing "nope" several times and watching him wet his pants I decided no more asking....just do! So, every 25 min I take him in (sometimes begrudgingly) and he sits there and "goes." His favorite is to flush, so its a little incentive. I'll keep you posted on how this exiting new journey is going!
